The Silk Sunscreen SPF 50

wanted to love it but pills!

"I'm so dissapointed this sunscreen pills on my face! it is otherwise a very nice weight and texture. I know if you use too much of this primer it eill pill so i only used the minimal amount to cover my skin. I tried eliminating each of the very light layers I use under this, azelaic acid serum and vitamin c, but it did not work. They also do not make my other sunblock or mineral sunblock pill. I was hoping this would be more like the Silk Canvas Primer but I'm very sad it's not and i really can't use it."

Silk Sunscreen

"I ordered the small size of this, forgetting I had bought the larger size previously. Even though I tend to have drier skin, this was a bit too heavy for me in Hawaii’s humidity. I actually wanted to try the Milky sunscreen in the small size instead so maybe will order that in the future. I was also disappointed that I didn’t receive any samples with my order from Tatcha’s website, even though it says they provide samples. Maybe I didn’t spend enough?"

Does the job, could be a little more light weight IMO

"I was excited to try this SPF since I love pretty much every Tatcha product I have tried. It is light, non-greasy, and not aromatic. It is neutral in color (warm beige-y) and therefore does not leave a white cast. I do feel I have to use a little more product than expected to cover the whole face, and it could be a little more lightweight in my opinion, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I’m still happy with the product but may consider even lighter feeling alternatives when I need more."

VERY DISAPPOINTED

"When I received the SPF I was shocked at how little I was getting for the price. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the volume indicated. Also I bought several other things and spent over $200 and didn’t receive ANY samples. I’ve been a long time customer of Tatcha and expected better from them. Their products are getting too expensive and I don’t think they appreciate their customers any more."

"as someone who’s constantly on the look for an spf that doesn’t feel super oily and provides the best coverage, THIS is the one! it’s light weight and doesn’t leave a white cast and best of all, it does not feel oily! it absorbs beautifully into the skin and perfect to use under makeup. I just need to buy the full size now!"
