"I love the Indigo cleansing balm. It seems to melt makeup right away without any scrubbing."
"I really enjoy this cleansing balm. I’m on my third container and have no intention to change. Actually, I love all ur products that I have tried."
"I’ve tried many different cleansers but this is the most balanced and effective cleanser that I’ve used. It not only thoroughly cleanses my skin, it dissolves makeup and leaves my skin incredibly smooth after rinsing."
"I have sensitive skin and rosacea. This stuff removes makeup so gently and thoroughly. Eye makeup melts away. I love it! Best remover product I've ever used."
"This has made removing makeup so easy."
"This stuff is amazing. As someone with a lifetime of sensitive skin/rosacea, I try new products with great hesitation. I have been using the calming cream for years with great success so I decided to try this and the new sensitive skin rice polish. Love it. The redness in my skin has reached a new level of suppression. It hasn't looked this white or felt this comfortable in years. My only complaint--make a larger size."
"This is for people whose skin has maybe changed, and who are looking for a new solution: I first bought Tatcha's Camellia oil when it initially came out on QVC, almost 15 years ago. I have loved it for a long time. It was the only thing that kept my dry, flaky skin hydrated and plump, even through the harsh Midwestern winters. But somewhere in my late 30s, I started breaking out a lot, and it took me a long time to realize that my beloved oil was to blame. From there, I cycled through all of Tatcha's cleansers, and then other brands too, and while the breakouts stopped, my skin remained dry and rough, and I finally gave up and accepted being a gross, unwashed gremlin--until this month, when I stumbled into a sample of the cleansing balm. It cleanses, it smooths, it doesn't strip the skin, it pairs well with the rice polish and the silk cream that I continue to love, and for the first time in 6 or 7 years, I am washing my face every day again because I wake up looking fresh and healthy instead of broken out and irritated. I am so grateful Tatcha released this formula, after my skin betrayed me in such an unexpected twist. It's genuinely so nice to be comfortable with my face again!"
"My skin is healthy and clean after using the cleansing balm. I love the way my skin feels after using the product."
"I've been using this cleanser for a few months now and don't get me wrong. I love it! It helped my sensitive skin heal within the months I've used it. However, when I received my fukubukuro bag, I noticed another cleanser inside. The camellia cleansing oil. I've tested it and I determined that it was better for my skin. However, I will still finish both indigo cleansing balms before switching to the oil. To anyone out there with sensitive skin, I highly recommend the indigo cleansing balm! It will not disappoint. Trust me :u1F90C|type_4:"
"I love cleansing balms and was so excited that Tatcha had one and for sensitive skin. . . but I'm allergic to it. :( Pros: cleans like a dream, feels soft, made my face feel soft and not stripped, and the blue color is fun! Cons: unfortunately every time I used it my skin became more red and irritated. Once I stopped using it, my skin returned to normal. Now I have 2 unusable jars of product. This is a miss for me. Also, it is a much smaller quantity than most balms, especially for the price."

The Japanese game of fukubiki is a centuries-old tradition still practiced today at seasonal festivals and even retailers. Learn about the custom and how you can win up to 4 complimentary minis for a limited time. What’s your favorite summer activity? If you have the chance to visit Japan, you’ll likely get to experience one of its famous summer festivals, or natsu matsuri. Though each has its own meaning and purpose, at their root most seasonal festivals are held to honor nature’s gifts, reconnect with the community, and pray for good fortune. These vibrant and colorful celebrations are often a showcase of the neighborhood with local craft vendors, dancing, fireworks, carnival games, and even a lottery known as fukubiki. The traditional game is said to have originated in 702 when Emperor Shomu held a New Year’s party where strips of paper were drawn for prizes like a beautiful cloth. Modern versions are sure-win raffles that can be held anytime of year where paper fukubiki are drawn from a wooden box. Fukubiki are said to reveal one’s fortune, and in more recent years, earn you a prize at your favorite retailer from mystery bags to discounts. To bring the spirit of good fortune to you, we’ve started our own fukubiki-inspired tradition. Matcha is finely powdered green tea that is known for its bright green hue, distinct cultivation, ceremonial preparation process, and transformative health benefits. There are different grades of matcha, with ceremonial being the most prized. Ceremonial-grade matcha comes from younger tea leaves that are more prized for their delicate flavor and potent health benefits. Matcha is also found in many skincare formulas, which might sound strange at first, but the green tea’s powerful antioxidants also work wonders on the skin, helping to soothe, calm, and balance.
