How to Use

Milky light protection that absorbs quickly

"Anyone saying this has the dreaded sunscreen smell has never smelled or used anything from Tatcha haha. It smells just like their purple line, so light and spa like. As for the product itself, it blends right in so easily, it plays so well with makeup, is very glowy and hydrating which I want, and I love that I’m getting the highest level of protection, as I don’t want to use anything under PA ++++ because I really am passionate about protecting my face from sun damage and photoaging. "It absorbs nicely with no cast. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was made with Avobenzone, Octisalate and Homosalate which are not great ingredients known to cause hormone disruption. I'll make sure to get a mineral based sunscreen next time."

"I have used so many sunscreens, that looked white, thick or made my skin breakout. This is the best sunscreen that I have ever used! I use it on my face, arms and hands. I wish it came in a larger size or body lotion. I sometimes use it as my daily moisturizer. It leaves my skin soft and not tacky."

"I really wanted to love this product! I’ve been using the silky mineral sunscreen, and I loved the tinted version. I was very excited that this product offered healing properties as well. I’ve just about finished this bottle, and I have been sunburnt at least four times on my face while wearing this…even after re-application. I also noticed an increased in sun sensitivity. Not sure if it just doesn’t play well with my other products, but super bummed! Will not be purchasing again"

"The way this sunscreen absorbs into the skin is unreal. I have been on the market looking for a sunscreen like this and finally found it. I have tried so many, and all of them felt so greasy and on top of my skin, making me feel sticky. The Tatcha Milky Sunscreen is the complete opposite, and it just blends beautifully. Also, a major plus is that it plays so well with any type of makeup. . . I had problems with my makeup peeling off if I wore sunscreen; now I don't have this issue. Worth the purchase. Is the milky sunscreen SPF 50 pregnancy safe?: Our entire skincare collection is formulated to be pregnancy-friendly. We formulate without mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, urea, DEA, TEA, and phthalates. We also do not formulate with retinoids, which is an ingredient you'll want to avoid when you are pregnant and breastfeeding.
Is there a zinc oxide in the sunscreen? If there is, what is the percentage?: This sunscreen does not contain zinc oxide in its formulation.
Can I wear makeup over the Milky Sunscreen SPF50?: Yes! This was formulated to work beautifully under makeup.
Does this sunscreen work while swimming for brief periods of time?: No, you should use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
I have celiac disease and my skin is sensitive to gluten- is this sunscreen gluten free?: Thank you for your question!
